As a candidate for International Director, my vision is rooted in three simple yet powerful actions. First, we must listen — to our clubs, our members, and our communities — so every voice is heard. Second, we must collaborate, working together across borders, cultures, and generations to build stronger connections. Finally, we must empower, giving Lions and Leos the tools, opportunities, and encouragement they need to lead with confidence and create lasting impact. By listening, collaborating, and empowering, we ensure Lionism not only thrives today but grows for generations to come.

Lionism has always been built on the strength of tradition — service, fellowship, and commitment to community. But to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow, we must also embrace innovation. Daniel Marney Elkins has been on the frontlines of this effort, co-founding Lions Virtual to connect members globally, leading the way in bringing AI tools into Lionism, and creating new platforms like the LCIF Tell-A-Thon to share the stories of Lions and the impact of our foundation around the world. By honoring our proud heritage while embracing new technologies and creative storytelling, Daniel is helping shape a future where Lions remain both relevant and revolutionary in service.
